I would like to show you the last pair of fingerless mittens I made for myself. Sometimes it is terribly cold at my office, and my hands got really cold when I am working at the computer. So I took a leftover of yarn (worsted, I think) and crocheted these mittens.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2TvtTIKWH59xvsjRFkX62RdAFdRdrg0o4nOkBjjAXU4_4qv1T2Om6Sh8zU3XLpDW2y3cpIoqWp1felx0J-CeXQWRZ0oW_Zbd6GqKmHRbYRgPqjZUQzqAYzLu4c5tTrERF8sgH_cBRS_Ozgteu__TZKl3z7svhfv_Y0U7v1-ulFJNk8JxXyLsNGQYc/s1079/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="811" data-original-width="1079" height="241" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2TvtTIKWH59xvsjRFkX62RdAFdRdrg0o4nOkBjjAXU4_4qv1T2Om6Sh8zU3XLpDW2y3cpIoqWp1felx0J-CeXQWRZ0oW_Zbd6GqKmHRbYRgPqjZUQzqAYzLu4c5tTrERF8sgH_cBRS_Ozgteu__TZKl3z7svhfv_Y0U7v1-ulFJNk8JxXyLsNGQYc/s320/1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiw9R4hvuxUVeP--GJ93UXhU2rT0Wa8w3p_YwmsqO31RnqqDHP_AlbnAqe3DF3uFbo8Bn8qEO0NimWwxrigvMbgzcQIFtHNXdhRy8RW9eWvN2F8NhK-m2cVqAOXhuk5HFvpuKY83omaDRSYgsYBRQVTeFk-oeP_tSDVV3WQDUDjQcXFuXChLcA5JQVS/s1599/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-12-16%20at%2014.27.31.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1599" data-original-width="899" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiw9R4hvuxUVeP--GJ93UXhU2rT0Wa8w3p_YwmsqO31RnqqDHP_AlbnAqe3DF3uFbo8Bn8qEO0NimWwxrigvMbgzcQIFtHNXdhRy8RW9eWvN2F8NhK-m2cVqAOXhuk5HFvpuKY83omaDRSYgsYBRQVTeFk-oeP_tSDVV3WQDUDjQcXFuXChLcA5JQVS/s320/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-12-16%20at%2014.27.31.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJia095FZg8JcKV-0u_XhFKkmQrFe-V721SEdoZhI_3I6kGNqZYpkSYp4YLFIO-JIcpoaf3YERE1y8W3gIf6PEs0smKVJGkQ-F4Hf-6Kug97R4WFl7NM7BSNaDLODgHmZGhgX6Xx8rlonPlWLJn6k5iwPhkHVDy9ZVxr8pceMliu_ywURQ_fgnoFaU/s1599/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-12-16%20at%2014.28.18.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1599" data-original-width="899" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJia095FZg8JcKV-0u_XhFKkmQrFe-V721SEdoZhI_3I6kGNqZYpkSYp4YLFIO-JIcpoaf3YERE1y8W3gIf6PEs0smKVJGkQ-F4Hf-6Kug97R4WFl7NM7BSNaDLODgHmZGhgX6Xx8rlonPlWLJn6k5iwPhkHVDy9ZVxr8pceMliu_ywURQ_fgnoFaU/s320/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-12-16%20at%2014.28.18.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /> <p></p><p> </p><p>First I made a chain of 11 stitches. Then, I made 9 hdc (half double crochet) along the chain. I turned and repeated until it was long enough to cover my wirst, so I closed with some dwarf stitches to make a cuff. <br /></p><p>Then I started to work in the round, following this chart:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLfqLpfl4L6XtgBHFI0Pb96WBVBNSY3OID9LvwOpb_Yssihb-kZcbK8V-lGoRhksbbM_uvS2ZeEBEzqoowUcE_byVcW5DeaD1ZJUkLkchqO1L5Uc4XDcwFyN3uskbbcqw6ZkdgYFaT5KAe9cIhVEaH2t-fft_MU77D_ljSxvUFKJlk517dI0FyZJXZ/s658/Imagen1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="319" data-original-width="658" height="194" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLfqLpfl4L6XtgBHFI0Pb96WBVBNSY3OID9LvwOpb_Yssihb-kZcbK8V-lGoRhksbbM_uvS2ZeEBEzqoowUcE_byVcW5DeaD1ZJUkLkchqO1L5Uc4XDcwFyN3uskbbcqw6ZkdgYFaT5KAe9cIhVEaH2t-fft_MU77D_ljSxvUFKJlk517dI0FyZJXZ/w400-h194/Imagen1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>For the thumb, I started in the 5th row. I made 2 front post double crochet stitches in the first and second stitches of the row (so, 34 stitches in total). In the 6th row, I made 2 front post double crochet stitches in the first stitch, then 2 back post double crochet stitches in the following 2 stitches, and again 2 front post double crochet stitches in the next stitch; so, 36 stitches in the row. For the 7th row, I made 2 front post double crochet stitches in the first stitch, then 4
back post double crochet stitches in the following 4 stitches, and again
2 front post double crochet stitches in the next stitch; 38 stitches in the row. And I kept increasing 2 stitches per row up to the 10th row (included). In the 11th row, I made one front post double stitch in the first stitch, skip the increased stitches and follow the pattern, with 32 stitches per row. I ended after the 16th row, but that is up to you!<br /><p><br /></p><br />Alo.simhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07330516806889019239noreply@blogger.com0Zaragoza, España41.6488226 -0.889085313.338588763821157 -36.0453353 69.959056436178855 34.2671647tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9154268819834598524.post-73405591946315901582022-10-28T14:56:00.000+02:002022-10-28T14:56:00.235+02:00Happy Halloween!<p> Hi there!</p><p>This week I have been doing a crocehted witch hat that was my daughter's costume to attend to school. </p><p>I have followed the youtube tutorial "The Whimsical Witch Hat", by Crochet with illJay. </p><p>https://youtu.be/l1gKDUKpItI</p><p>And I added a cute spider - Webster pattern, by Drops Design 😃</p><p><a href="https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=6367&cid=23" target="_blank">https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=6367&cid=23</a></p><p> </p><p>And here you are, pictures of the witch hat </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMRwbX9tyGawg3KQhOp1PVwZtj9JmAtXuKCrKUjOA3MtR7AZvIHkBwQMbVIUz-3ApHuar6RdAxvFitM9RPats2G97yfl8qawPl2A0zfcdJFJ2MErjDyLdjRQ1HQYwi6FJTb9rYSQFROY3mOB7z1WyfZjymkev_b8Z1yxh86CVM8JlxuzfNFNiiG6dm/s1599/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-10-28%20at%2009.48.07.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1599" data-original-width="899" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMRwbX9tyGawg3KQhOp1PVwZtj9JmAtXuKCrKUjOA3MtR7AZvIHkBwQMbVIUz-3ApHuar6RdAxvFitM9RPats2G97yfl8qawPl2A0zfcdJFJ2MErjDyLdjRQ1HQYwi6FJTb9rYSQFROY3mOB7z1WyfZjymkev_b8Z1yxh86CVM8JlxuzfNFNiiG6dm/s320/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-10-28%20at%2009.48.07.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0zuKfJ596GmzzyEnBYOexnCfUDZxPWPDEN5AaxM1fp-KVACvqhudFucxPdOo-WuSateT__20BwOhT5Yb2_pT5eLwarJN7kwPRwexvnONdEaC8fo7u43grniLuwahY1W-1FbFGLFanf5yhrPuAYEJpDy05cKatmsdZlg_MUplfCnp7Z9363vZi1U5Y/s1599/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-10-28%20at%2014.54.33.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1599" data-original-width="899" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0zuKfJ596GmzzyEnBYOexnCfUDZxPWPDEN5AaxM1fp-KVACvqhudFucxPdOo-WuSateT__20BwOhT5Yb2_pT5eLwarJN7kwPRwexvnONdEaC8fo7u43grniLuwahY1W-1FbFGLFanf5yhrPuAYEJpDy05cKatmsdZlg_MUplfCnp7Z9363vZi1U5Y/s320/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-10-28%20at%2014.54.33.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><br /> <br /><p></p>Alo.simhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07330516806889019239noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9154268819834598524.post-14752952430197044962022-10-05T10:38:00.001+02:002022-10-07T13:27:12.887+02:00Bottle carrier<p> Hi there! I want to show you this bottle carrier I made crochetting. I used cotton yarn, Drops Paris (color 35, vanilla). I hope you will like it!</p><p><br /></p><br /><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghvDJHocIN4zM0iWAlMzMw7402TPm4hRd5eBgKon5SpXRfuIsCIqZVS_HC6i2pc_NbvTnRtt4QBwRH1t0fy52E4_AmRlGdEHhRPY_DNp1_1c6xQZw6jL3j8fSNxGQ7W4xNhLFzg5Jv0OvXedn7L-LQM7WOj5CYltYfVO8H04f8odMo1qI-3uY6Hs2v/s1600/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-10-05%20at%2010.33.23(1).jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghvDJHocIN4zM0iWAlMzMw7402TPm4hRd5eBgKon5SpXRfuIsCIqZVS_HC6i2pc_NbvTnRtt4QBwRH1t0fy52E4_AmRlGdEHhRPY_DNp1_1c6xQZw6jL3j8fSNxGQ7W4xNhLFzg5Jv0OvXedn7L-LQM7WOj5CYltYfVO8H04f8odMo1qI-3uY6Hs2v/s320/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-10-05%20at%2010.33.23(1).jpeg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxZpeC3V_PRpPNODJBAqps0Ej9EnfuYAypTFfWJeOrNw33sS5703sB2AR8j5vm9i_sqNzEqT8i9oOwZNFT7GsAOALDkgaj3wuO-giyuOvFb5u8M0jNWhpTgrffgS8ufgvZRsdH3M4PUr645pyAdWhWNCFGsindbOxJ8YI2gLpHKgk_Fv8qgYqd8lFn/s1600/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-10-05%20at%2010.33.23.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxZpeC3V_PRpPNODJBAqps0Ej9EnfuYAypTFfWJeOrNw33sS5703sB2AR8j5vm9i_sqNzEqT8i9oOwZNFT7GsAOALDkgaj3wuO-giyuOvFb5u8M0jNWhpTgrffgS8ufgvZRsdH3M4PUr645pyAdWhWNCFGsindbOxJ8YI2gLpHKgk_Fv8qgYqd8lFn/s320/WhatsApp%20Image%202022-10-05%20at%2010.33.23.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div><br />Alo.simhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07330516806889019239noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9154268819834598524.post-20901792625620465362022-04-18T18:51:00.004+02:002022-04-26T11:18:39.952+02:00Pencilcase<p> Hi there! A long time has passed since the last post, more than a year. It was a busy year, believe me, we even move to another country. Thus, it has been difficult to find time to make new things, and to write a post about them.</p><p>Anyway, today I just want to show you a little pencil case, made with yarn scraps in crochet. It is very simple, just a kind of bag made on single crochet, sown to a frame, and a pink skull as decoration. The skull was made following the pattern by Crochet Nirvana:</p><p><a href="http://crochetnirvana.weebly.com/blog/how-to-crochet-skulls#.Yl2VpyhByMQ">http://crochetnirvana.weebly.com/blog/how-to-crochet-skulls#.Yl2VpyhByMQ</a> </p><p>Here you can see the result, it's so cool!!</p><p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb2LFgAwZiTCGhj9Msbbt2I65ySj5Hf_xWWmfLW78VtfpM7webNQHH18iMK9G0rslf4c2pojP73uUb1E9hLDl1urpreo2ssRkoiOw1OiM64OiZjQBDSsGaNF5skZWIhUaMiR0Jd8-Ue8x2s2L3Ifhc4AYFlYtZAyOV8B75ji9KLYqBfkIAvnkyhMcf/s4160/IMG_20220418_183315.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4160" data-original-width="3120" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb2LFgAwZiTCGhj9Msbbt2I65ySj5Hf_xWWmfLW78VtfpM7webNQHH18iMK9G0rslf4c2pojP73uUb1E9hLDl1urpreo2ssRkoiOw1OiM64OiZjQBDSsGaNF5skZWIhUaMiR0Jd8-Ue8x2s2L3Ifhc4AYFlYtZAyOV8B75ji9KLYqBfkIAvnkyhMcf/s320/IMG_20220418_183315.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p> </p><p><br /></p>Alo.simhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07330516806889019239noreply@blogger.com001100 Viterbo, Italia42.4206766 12.10766914.110442763821155 -23.048581 70.730910436178846 47.263919tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9154268819834598524.post-53774565170119281362021-01-07T08:32:00.001+01:002021-01-07T08:32:41.602+01:00A Christmas present<p> Hi everyone!</p><p>I just want to show you a picture of a knitted Christmas present for my brother. So I made a cute pair of unicorn slippers for her. The look just gorgeous! I followed <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/glimmer-sisters-unicorn-slippers">Glimmer Sisters Unicorn Slippers</a>
by Brenda K. B. Anderso, available for free in Ravelry. I just changed the colors, white slippers are nice but they would get dirty really fast. So here we are, violet unicorns. I made them with Drops Karisma yarn, and use a bit of antislip layer so my kid will not break a leg sliding along the floor. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxAk_qYa0M-yhuMycRJ3JTGvF7KH9shH1E5kTshZtHOon1jidEKf5NCCQB4RI_LHKc8tjcWgsvhiztir53b4CHALSYO8PJs-ujXmNXWlkYG_hmGycFxYwqC1_ngB9iGjRy5zjlVU65Xg8/s1600/WhatsApp+Image+2020-10-04+at+21.11.40.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxAk_qYa0M-yhuMycRJ3JTGvF7KH9shH1E5kTshZtHOon1jidEKf5NCCQB4RI_LHKc8tjcWgsvhiztir53b4CHALSYO8PJs-ujXmNXWlkYG_hmGycFxYwqC1_ngB9iGjRy5zjlVU65Xg8/s320/WhatsApp+Image+2020-10-04+at+21.11.40.jpeg" /></a></div><br />

I hope you are just fine, not suffering the COVID-19 disease.</p><p>Anyway, I want to show you the last item I have done. I wanted a washable and colorful rug for my child bedroom. I didn't find anyone we like, so I thought about making one by myself. But, how should I make a rug? I have previously made one from jeans, but I did not have so many old jeans right not. So I thought about using my yarn leftover stash, which was quite big. Then, I crochet c2c technique using 3 different threads at the same time, 2 thin and one thicker. To polish the edge, I made a reverse single stitch (crab stitch) all around the carpet. After crocheting it, I attached an antislip layer at the bottom, so it is no slippery. And this is the stunning result!! I like it very much, and my kid also loves it. It is washable and very colorful. We are so glad with result! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqsGAyjM_m3-JB2x2xIBbYCJuQP8KDwM86uPguwx11y7xeb6Zwrvju1K-Yd9iE_c7d8W-asNdfkPIXUZJmVSm8tfh03GJa-GJeBA0FCFIlUwKJO_CjPIYWnSF48H9Kvfh4j4emV4XG6gI/s2048/IMG_20200909_215320941.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqsGAyjM_m3-JB2x2xIBbYCJuQP8KDwM86uPguwx11y7xeb6Zwrvju1K-Yd9iE_c7d8W-asNdfkPIXUZJmVSm8tfh03GJa-GJeBA0FCFIlUwKJO_CjPIYWnSF48H9Kvfh4j4emV4XG6gI/s320/IMG_20200909_215320941.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHh1FY79oFpVrIsrXZU-hW2uQjvWkTz8TcousN-3j9BToLzylGnd9hybUGI1tXUJv9wTTTYt8ASNLOvAPMIMZd7wn8RQ-CtWos96W_6hp-Agw2qm2IXGt6pI0h8wBBLaVfUyWa6Sf7XcA/s2048/IMG_20200909_215249423.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHh1FY79oFpVrIsrXZU-hW2uQjvWkTz8TcousN-3j9BToLzylGnd9hybUGI1tXUJv9wTTTYt8ASNLOvAPMIMZd7wn8RQ-CtWos96W_6hp-Agw2qm2IXGt6pI0h8wBBLaVfUyWa6Sf7XcA/s320/IMG_20200909_215249423.jpg" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Alo.simhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07330516806889019239noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9154268819834598524.post-68768731740605828332019-10-02T15:50:00.001+02:002019-10-02T15:50:15.397+02:00New gloves!Hi everyone!<br />

<br />
I have recently discovered this great web with lots of free patterns, and I would like to share it with everyone! It is called Knitty<br />
<br />
<a href="http://knitty.com/ISSUEff19/index.php" target="_blank">http://knitty.com/ISSUEff19/index.php</a><br />
<br />
You can browse their past issues and check patterns included in there, or just go to the pattern library and search what kind of item you would like to knit and add what features you would like it to have.<br />
<br />
Hope you will love it! I'm looking forward to finishing all the stuff I have started to choose one of these great patterns.Alo.simhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07330516806889019239noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9154268819834598524.post-2959467608911773032019-07-15T16:15:00.000+02:002019-07-15T16:15:13.620+02:00Crocheted bagHi there!<br />
<br />
Summer has started, as well as the time spent in the park watching my 4YO girl playing with some other kids. Sometimes I am wishing I have simple and rather mechanical to do, so I can keep an eye on her and do something at the same time.<br />
<br />
So I tried with this item, a crocheted bag useful to go shopping. Pattern by Drops Design, here you have the link:<br />
<br />
<a href="https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=9108&cid=19" target="_blank">https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=9108&cid=19</a><br />
<br />
I used some cotton/acrylic yarn, same as I used for scientific amigurumi. I used 50 g in orange color, and 100 g in green. <br />
<br />
I am very happy with the result, it is very useful and I could do something else but being seated 😉<br />

<br />
How are you? I hope very fine.<br />
<br />
Today I want to share with you a nice pattern published in Ravelry. It is a crochet pattern of an Erlenmeyer flask. Here you are the link:<br />
<br />
<a href="https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/earl-lenmeyer-the-flask" target="_blank">https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/earl-lenmeyer-the-flask</a><br />
<br />
I am preparing a gift for a labmate who is about to defend her PhD thesis. And this amigurumi flask is just great. I crochetted it together with a test tube. The test tube it really easy to crochet, just make a magic ring of 5 single crochet stitches, make 2 sc in the next round and keep on crochetting as long as you want your tube to be. You can "fill in" your tube just using a colored yarn, and changing to white yarn for the empty part. When you think your tube is big enough, just stuff it, and decrease in each sc crocheting only in the back loop. The cap of the tube is also easy, make a magic ring with 6 sc, increase in the next round to 12 sc, and then crochet in the back loop in the next round. Make 2 or 3 more rounds and finish it. Your test tube is done!!<br />
<br />
I hope you will like it.<br />

<br />
I want to show you my new fingerless mittens. I always get cold hands while working on my laptop, so this is the final solution! I had a leftover skein of Drops Lima yarn and I crocheted them on a cold Saturday afternoon. I followed this pattern,<br />
<br />
<a href="https://handmade-rukodelky.blogspot.com/2015/02/crocheted-simple-fingerless-gloves-sm.html?m=1" target="_blank">https://handmade-rukodelky.blogspot.com/2015/02/crocheted-simple-fingerless-gloves-sm.html?m=1</a><br />
<br />
And here you have the result<br />
<br />

I just want to share with you a picture of the scarf I made for muy 4<u>yo</u> girl. I wanted to knit something with double side knitting technique. I was thinking on an emoji motif, and I asked my kid about it. But then, she asked me: 'and why not a solar system scarf?' Wow! Let's do it!<br />
So I worked on the pattern on Stitchfiddle, and I drew the solar system part, including asteroid belt between Mars and Júpiter, Pluto and Kuiper's belt. But I needed a longer pattern to make the scarf long enough, so I added an alien spacecraft, a couple of rockets, Virgo constellation (it's my girl sign), and a big comet. I have finished a few weeks ago, and I have also knitted a pair of mittens following Drop's Mr. Fish pattern. Everything was done with Drops Fable yarn.<br />
<br />
https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=7301&cid=19<br />
<br />
Here you have a couple of pictures of both scarf and mittens.<br />

<br />
Today I'm showing you my last crochet craft. It is a backpack showing Totoro motifs.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX8dI-zlIXCKIzq2Cu9hiQUV977Kc7mNkd30pKOYHv8iRnizClrOqJ2bI_qOE7Kw9_11riNJuLYC_uVsPoqzhizQbXzCZB0704wwblabj_AxwzItVsuUe49qF1KfDI2Bwwq2r09_NAj5c/s1600/IMG_20180908_141037143.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX8dI-zlIXCKIzq2Cu9hiQUV977Kc7mNkd30pKOYHv8iRnizClrOqJ2bI_qOE7Kw9_11riNJuLYC_uVsPoqzhizQbXzCZB0704wwblabj_AxwzItVsuUe49qF1KfDI2Bwwq2r09_NAj5c/s320/IMG_20180908_141037143.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I used some Drops Safran surplus (the white background) and some Drops You. I made up the pattern based on this ravelry blanket pattern:<br />
<br />
<a href="https://www.ravelry.com/projects/Skirtyfyde/baby-blanket-latvian-garden" target="_blank">https://www.ravelry.com/projects/Skirtyfyde/baby-blanket-latvian-garden</a><br />
<br />
And in this picture:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.pinimg.com/originals/c3/7c/83/c37c8345854179de9080e8aa9ff404e8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="645" height="320" src="https://i.pinimg.com/originals/c3/7c/83/c37c8345854179de9080e8aa9ff404e8.jpg" width="258" /></a></div>
And I drew it using Stitchfiddle, which I think is really useful to make this kind of pattern.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://www.stitchfiddle.com/en" target="_blank">https://www.stitchfiddle.com/en</a><br />
<br />
Here is the pattern, in case anyone would like to use it. But please, do not sell it!!<br />

<br />
Have you ever heard about knitting research?? I've just read about it last week, and I think it is so interesting! Thus, I want to share it. I am talking about KEME, Knitting in Early Moders Europe, an ongoing research project which began as an EU-funded Marie Sklodowska Curie Fellowship at the Centre for Textile Research at the University of Copenhagen.<br />
<br />

<br />
Just a couple of things today.<br />
<br />
Firstly, I have decided I will keep on writing only in English.The two-column format looks nice but it is a bit complicated for me. So, sorry for the Spanish-speaking people, but I will just write in English from now on. And therefore I will practice my English 😄<br />
<br />
I want to share this with everyone. I have finished my new jumper. It is knitted top-down, and this is the very first time I make something in this way. It have been a bit difficult, but it is already done. And I am very happy with it!!<br />
<br />
The pattern is by Drops Design. Please visit the web, it is full of great and free knit and crochet patterns for everybody. <br />

¡Buenas!
Manualidades he seguido
A ver si me voy
poniendo al día.<br />

<span style="text-align: justify;">Hi
there! This year has just been crazy, and I hardly spend time writing
on the blog. The reason is the birth of my first baby-girl, the
pregnancy and baby care let me timeless and lacking enthusiasm to write
here. I've been crafting anyway, specially knitting and crocheting baby
clothes. I hope I will be publishing these things from now on. </span></div>

I've been crafting anyway, specially knitting and crocheting baby clothes. I hope I will be publishing these things from now on. Today I will just write a nice link for you. At the end of the month, the baby will be given baptism, and I'm going to make paper cones to full them with candies, in order to share them out the attendees. I didn't make up my mind yet, but any of papermatrix's models will be the chosen one. As you can see, in this blog you can find plenty of great printable patterns to make many different objects out of paper. It's amazing. I hope you will like it as much as I do.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="float: right; width: 45%;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hi again! I'm quite busy recently with many different things, and even when I keep doing things, they go too slowly.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyway, today I show you the last thing I've done. We needed a small rug to put under a chair, and I have done this one with some old jeans. Firstly, I cut the trouser leg in long stripes, 3-4 cm wide. Then, I rolled the stripes and join them through single crochet stitches, crocheted with a thing cotton yarn. I used blue yarn, but it could be done with other contrasting colors.</div>
I hope you'll like it! It takes a lot of work, but it was easy to make and the result is quite good.</div>

¡Hola!
<div style="float: right; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
Hi! Here I am again.It seems a lot of time has passed from the last time I published something here, but I haven't forgotten about the blog. But some other things happens, things that stole my time, so I couldn't make any craft or write here.<br />
Anyway, here I am. Today I want to show you a nice stuffed crocheted character. It is Hobbes, the famous tiger from Bill Watterson's Calvin & Hobbes. I love the comic, so when I saw this pattern to make a crocheted Hobbes, I couldn't avoid to make one for myself. Here you are the link to the pattern, in a very interesting blog by Sukigirl.</div>

<br />
<br />
<div style="float: left; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
</div>
<div style="float: right; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
And here is a picture of my Hobbes. It looks so good! Even when I used red yarn instead of orange. I love it anyway.</div>

And here you can see its face closely. I made the eyes, nose and mouth with black yarn.</div>

¡Hola! ¿Queréis saber cómo lo he hecho?
<div style="float: right; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
Hi! As I promised in the previous entry, today I'm showing you a picture of Christmas ramo already finished and ornated. I've painted it in dark red, which is a very suitable color for Christmas, and I've ornated it with a holly branch, dark green ribbons, green and yellow braids, a crocheted trim showing little mittens, some winter fruits and sweets. It looks great! Would you like to know how I made it? Then keep reading this entry.</div>
<div style="clear: both;">

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwmkx7N7lUUfOXYz5p9JOJPsaqn8hbbwATAej2hl2rgUpm-IVrTS0egmVXwyar88wWetOmRAkszOaeEcBxfNS-wxSqQae0Oy58CnYAk1uchGB651hTUWIeVO7OquCe5V_QCU-mkm7aoIk/s1600/Ramo+015+copia.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwmkx7N7lUUfOXYz5p9JOJPsaqn8hbbwATAej2hl2rgUpm-IVrTS0egmVXwyar88wWetOmRAkszOaeEcBxfNS-wxSqQae0Oy58CnYAk1uchGB651hTUWIeVO7OquCe5V_QCU-mkm7aoIk/s400/Ramo+015+copia.jpg" width="255" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<div style="float: left; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
<div style="float: right; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
First thing I did was to draw the shape of my "ramo" in cardboard. It's just normal cardboard, from an empty milk box. I cut two of these, and I glued pieces of cardboard coverring all the surface, but without exceeding the edge. Thus, I got 3 layers of cardboard at the end, with different orientations of its waves.</div>

<br />
<div style="float: left; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
<div style="float: right; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
Then I started to glue side pieces. I cut 4 cm wide strips and carefully gluing them at the edge of one of the two pieces I had previously made. As you can see, the holes to hold the candles were already done. I glued these cardboard pieces with Elmer's glue and little pieces of paper from a publicity brochure.</div>

<br />
<div style="float: left; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
<br /></div>
<div style="float: right; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
I kept on gluing lateral sides and, when finished, the other piece over them. In some parts paper pieces had to be particularly small, as you can appreciate in the picture of candle holes.<br />
To make the base I used the same technique, I glued 4.5 cm wide stripes untill I got a long and wide enough piece. I also covered this with little papers. You can see here a picture of the whole structure, before the painting.<br />
Finally, two layers of dark red paint and the decoration gave the result you can see in the first picture of this entry. I think it looks great, don't you?<br />

¡Hola!
<div style="float: right; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
Hi! Christmas is closer and closer, and Christmas decorations must be prepared. This year I decided that, instead of Christmas tree, I will decorate my home with the traditional decoration from my homeland, Leon. More details are explained in the following link, but I will make a summary in this post.</div>
<div style="clear: both;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<a href="http://raigame.blogspot.com.es/p/ramos-leoneses-de-navidad.html" target="_blank">http://raigame.blogspot.com.es/p/ramos-leoneses-de-navidad.html</a>
<br />
<div style="float: left; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="float: left; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
<br />
<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="float: right; width: 45%;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It seems that the origin of this decoration is very old, even older than Romans. It may be a tradition related to winter solstice that was subsequently related to Chrismtas. In this way, it is our version of European Christmas trees.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It seems that, at the beginning, they were just branches of perennial trees, specially holm oak. I suppose that this is the origin of its name, since "ramo" means branch. This kind of ramo was, and it is still, ornated with sweets and coloured ribbons </div>
</div>
<div style="clear: both;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvCxsDZcktgfnZmnKR6Vr8azBUqoZlI-BnrsC551Mc6of83I1g4D1LPI5volBPJSJImtxUq9wFNja_nclZk7sFvaMsSzfgXRl38Yn7sunvKsCktVdt3mzdfVN9KWWW77OiQzPY4DY2mcM/s320/a+Quintos.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvCxsDZcktgfnZmnKR6Vr8azBUqoZlI-BnrsC551Mc6of83I1g4D1LPI5volBPJSJImtxUq9wFNja_nclZk7sFvaMsSzfgXRl38Yn7sunvKsCktVdt3mzdfVN9KWWW77OiQzPY4DY2mcM/s320/a+Quintos.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="float: left; width: 45%;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="float: right; width: 45%;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This old ramo evolved in several ways in different areas. Nowadays the most abundant ramo has triangle shape, and it is ornated with ribbons, candles (one for every month of the year), winter fruits, plant elements, crochet laces, etc.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Thus, since I have no Christmas ramo, I decided to make one. Since I can't make it of wood, I decided to make it of cardboard. In the next post I'll show how I've done it, and how does it look. </div>
</div>

¡Hola!
<br />
<div style="float: right; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
Hi! We are getting closer and closer to Christmas. And I feel in the mood to cook. A few days ago I found a easy recipe to make panettone, I copy down the link below. And I have just take my panettone out of the oven. I haven't tryed them yet, but they really look delicious. It's a shame that I didn't have molds enough (the dough grew more than I expected) and those I made with oven paper are a bit crappy.<br />
<br />
Here you are the original recipe. </div>
<div style="clear: both;">

<div style="float: right; text-align: justify; width: 45%;">
And I post here a picture of my panettone just baked. They were delicious!<br />

<div style="float: left; width: 45%;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
¡Hola!
</div>
<div style="float: right; width: 45%;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hi! Today I'm showing you a cactus pincushion, which I made for a friend's birthday present. This friend is starting to sew, so I though this would be a perfect present. And I wrapped it in the same way plants are wrapped in florists. It is so cute! You can see the final result in the first picture, in the rest you can see the pattern I used to make it and the final result.</div>
</div>
<div style="clear: both;">

</div>
<a name='more'></a><div style="float: left; width: 293.84375px;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
</div>
<div style="float: right; width: 293.84375px;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here you are the pattern I used to make the cactus. I cut 4 parts like this in green fabric, and I sewed them to make the cactus. There is 1 cm betwee black lines, so you can reproduce the pattern if you want.</div>
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="float: left; width: 293.84375px;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
</div>
<div style="float: right; width: 293.84375px;">
After sewing the four green parts, I fixed eyes and sew the smiling mouth. I also sewed a small crochet flower in the top. Here you can see the already stuffed cactus.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO9OwHKanXE5PAlm0ItVfs_BySldBcNGBNA-2BZsirN6idHvjArsQA4P9fKP3g1_YqUSm8pAFQJ9jD4EgCtdJozdqn-c6DsQMvqzvp503cYJ-fgxtC6H5VA6uYEyoQe-NMpUm_-ojOzQA/s1600/Cactus+010+copia.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO9OwHKanXE5PAlm0ItVfs_BySldBcNGBNA-2BZsirN6idHvjArsQA4P9fKP3g1_YqUSm8pAFQJ9jD4EgCtdJozdqn-c6DsQMvqzvp503cYJ-fgxtC6H5VA6uYEyoQe-NMpUm_-ojOzQA/s320/Cactus+010+copia.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="float: left; width: 293.84375px;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="float: right; width: 293.84375px;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I also made a plant pot. You may use a small clay pot, but I prefered to make one myself. To make this I used a roll from toilet paper, gluing many small pieces of newspaper paper to strengen it and give it a pot-shape. Finally, after some layers of glued paper, I painted it, and it looked really great. I filled it with some beans, so it would be heavier, I glued a cardboard lid on the top part and I glued the cactus to this lid. Here you can see it before the wrapping. </div>
</div>
